Original DM500 freezes??

Hello everyone, it's nice to be on this great forum...
I have Original Dreambox 500 and using Gmini 4.6, but it seems to freeze when switching on, when changing channels even on FTA channels, is this common with this model, or there is something wrong with the image?

This thread would be better placed in the Dreambox section. Im unsure whether its a Dm500s or DM500c but i will get a moderator to move it to either relative section!

Please not that if you have a motor connected to your box this may be the cause as the dm500s was never designed to be used with a motor and the little power from the power supply often struggles to cope with a motor!
