Wondering if anyone can share with me what are my options for these 2 pieces of equipment lying around? Now can only watch FTA channels.

They are not the SE sets. Can PM me too if not convenient to discuss here. Appreciate any help or suggestions

If you are using the MVHD800C-VI (Black) (NOT WHITE!!!), you are in luck.

I had stumbled upon the firmware (which only available to PRC resellers). Dated 02-Dec-2014.

Unzip and place the file into root directory of your USB thumbdrive.



Flashing them, and your old set will be identical as C600 Plus , C601 Plus, C608 Plus and C808 Plus
(Except for the chassis labels). Wow, now there is no need to buy new hardware!!
PRC sellers had been lying, no solution my foot!! Only one thing is missing, and that I have to let you guess for it.

Presently, your current unit which unable to view some sexy video, but after flashing, these plug-ins working again. Yeaaah!!!!!... Box had gained some value... no more a junk..

Yes, By default, only FTA channels are viewable, if do some homework and the rest will be working too..
May they be DM500, DM800HD, DM800SE, 501C, FYHD, MVHD, 888.. whatever...
