DM500 only free chanels working

hi i am new to all this and was wanting to no if any one can help me please
i have just flashed my son,s dream box with a back up image from my dream box 500c all went ok all chanels are listed but can only recevie the free 1s can any one give me any tips thanks mike ...

have you restarted the cam/emu

what image you using ?
you need to restart evocamd or mgcamd which ever one you using which are the emulators to start the keys

Have you FTP'd the keys, roms and 28/11/08 fix to the correct folders on your DM500? You need to do this in order for the cam to work. There is a sticky explaining how to do it:

no m8 i used dreamup and flashed with rs232 lead

After flashing the image, you need to FTP the keys to the /var/keys folder and the roms and fix to the /var/scce folder of your Dreambox. The guide in the sticky explains how to do it.
