DM800c image able to install with Dreamup

Hi all

Hope someone here can help

I have converted a dreambox 800hd sat box to a cable box (new tunner) the problem i have is my box has a faulty ethernet port so it works with wi-fi dongle only.
When i downloaded my first image it failed via web so now the only way for me to install is via dreamup (serial connection) The same image stills fails so most be a bad image.

What i hope is someone can help me with a DM800c image that can be used with Dreamup

install the RTL5370 WiFi driver (or some images had preloaded WiFi Driver for older realtek chipset)

And most older image would have some file explorer to read your USB content, and the IPK driver package could be install directly via USB.

This is one way to revive your set.

I assumed you had encountered a CA ERR error?
Just get a small second-stage SIM201 (or whatever SIM publisher's image) NFI file, and use patched dreamup to flash, just less than 5 second, and you can proceed with network flashing.

Will try this out tonight do you know a good image to try for DM800c as there seems to be a lot more out there for the SE version?
