    how do i get to know my ip from my drambox any1???

    look in the menu and open the one that says network . ip at the top

      do a IPCONFIG on your pc and see what your router is

      or a "command prompt" and type "ipconfig" from all programmes

      it should go then 1,2,3 for the address i.e, 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.3

      these are only an example you willhave your own from ipconfig

          thats if y have a image like dk or dw .. l was thinking u have the image that came with the box and havnt flashed it as yet

            If you use Norton Internet Security 2008, there's a network map button that will give you the IP of all attached network devices

              l use network magic .. u can find in the normal places .. great if your boxes changes ip after a reboot u know straight away . also great if your want to share printers and pc's and your network manager isnt doing its job

                Why not have a static ip addresses for your dreambox that way they never change.

                  I was going to take mine to show someone the difference between eurovox and dm500,,am i better keeping it on auto update??
