FTP connection problem

Using Filezilla to FTP AU fix to dreambox 500c but i'm having problems connectiing to my 500c

I'm using a crosover cable and getting the following message

Status: Connecting to 192.168.0.24:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server"

Any suggestions guys?
