    Discovery ?

Hi guys, some of you may know that I have just recently (Today) got my set top box (DM 500) up and running, I do however have a question I'm hoping you can help me with.

The issue that I am having is that, after twice scanning the frequency for my area, I appear to be missing some channels, I dont know exactly how many / which ones they are as I have not looked at the list in detail, but I know that some of the discovery channels are amoung those missing.

Why would this be, I know for certain that they are available as I have another STB (Not DM) that when connected to the same feed picks them up / finds them no problem, could any of you good folk shed any light as to why this would be, and how I might be able to solve the problem ?,

    Regards,
    The Soulman.

could be to do with the bouquets you have on your box.look for the missing channels in unsorted/other bouquet.if they are there simply move them to the bouquet of your choice.
if they aint in unsorted try another scan.this time try a bruteforce scan.takes a bit longer but does what it says on the tin. best of luck

Ok mate thanks, I dont have any bouquets set up as its what you might call a bare install.
(I've only just set the box up from new)

The box, as I type is performing the suggested Bruteforce for UK scan, I'll let you know the outcome,
