db800 cable question

Im thinking of buying a db800 and was wondering if i could connect up my virgin cable to this receiver would it be possible in viewing the fta channels and if so would the dreambox record the virgin programs ,id guess there wouldnt be a problem there but id thought id ask .
Cables on a broadband package ..Also i think id have to buy a addon to connect the cable too it ..
Would i get catch up tv feature using the dreambox by any chance ?

Hi Rhubarb,

The DM800PVR will allow you to watch fta channels and more,
with some setting up from new. The DM800PVR do not come with a hard drive so you will need to purchase one, you can record VM channels, and watch them at your convenience.

You will need to make sure it is for cable, i think it is called a DVB-C
