can you please be a bit more specific mate when wanting help,
give as much detail as poss, so we can get it right first time.

What image you using ?
and you need to get familiar with FTP. Its not that hard if you read through the tuts.
You can change the IP on your box, via the remote control.

It has to be within a range of the IP address of your PC,i normally make it 1 above the IP of my PC, also if you have a router, the gateway IP will most likely be 192.168.1.1

ok i flashed box with dk image and i get no channels exept the free ones so i try using ftp core or flashxp and when i try connect it wont let me

menu>set up> expertsetup> communication setup,,,,and your ip should for dreambox is there ,,

start> all programmes> command prompt> and type in "ipconfig" into box you should see two similar numbers "192.168.1.1" and "192.168.1.2" try changing your dreambox to
"192.168.1.3"

ps ,,check what your numbers are first though,,they could be anything ,,but 192. is usually the first 3 digits
