trouble flashing 500c

hi
got a box of a friend to flash
i used dreamup to flash dk1.1
when finished i disconnect the power and reconnected and nothing but the green light on the box and no response to the remote
so i opened up dreamup again clicked connect and was about to disconnect the power from the box when dreamup started uploading and then said box alive and talking to us
now this should not happen with the power on all the time
anybody got a clue as to what is going on with this box

Try and flash again, if it is still the same, namely green light no response to remote, you will need to flash with original dream firmware, then again with your new flash file.

thanks for the reply but i have already tried that same result

Try the original firmware file with a different version of dreamup, if you are connecting with the box then I would say all is not lost.
