Beware buying from DVB Monkey

Isn't it fair to say, that these are all clone boxes so you pay your money and take a chance?

To be fair, I bought 2 dm500s boxes from DVBMonkey and knew the risk, both boxes arrived perfect though.

Technically, the boxes are clones and illegal, dealing direct with an illegal company in China will have probs, and they have probs doing it!

They do try but problems will happen, a risk both sides!

Having just order several dreambox 500c from them, stated EMS SHIPPING ONLY(you know why). They have sent them DHL and then tried to tell me that EMS will not ship due to customs problems anymore, have contacted other supplies no this is a lie! Have escalate dispute with palpay, they replied to them stating they will send them how they Want!!!!!!!

I buy quite a bit from dvbmonkey and i must say they seem allot better then they were.

ems currently are loosing allot of parcels and dhl guarantee a good tracking system which is why sellers like dhl. ofcourse it aint good for us.

some of my ems packages get lost and its a ~~~~in nightmare getting them back.

dvbmonkey have sorted them selves out and seems very stable. i now read less and less about the probs and more sucess delivery's. i also found they seem to be answering emails and tickets more.

if you buy with paypal, you are covered no matter what, as long as you claim within 30days if anything goes wrong.

As with all Dreambox you will have to flash it and set it all up.

I opened an account with dvbseller and receive a service second to none. They actually treat you like a human being and sort any problems out straight away. I tried dvbgorilla,got 2 parcels via dhl, both opened and then got 2 bills, never paid the dhl bills and not heard anymore about them.
I have now had over 12 parcels from dvbseller with fast delivery via ems, no damages and no further charges plus all products working 100%.

i bought a dm7020 from dvbmonkey over a year ago it came within 10 days and the documents said it was a "sample satellite receiver" worth 10 euro.

Its still working perfect so im very happy with it but not sure if i would risk buying from them again after reading about people having problems with them.

Just got back 2day from holiday, italy very nice worth a visit, need Sat dish plus dreambox 4 tv. The nice people at DHL invoiced for Tax on door step as I said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just recieved my second dm500c of them and its fine. ive purchased 2 dm500c and 1 dm500s of this company and all 3 have arrived via dhl within a fortnight in a1 condition and are working without any problems. cant complain and would use them again

DHL not only charge the tax (which is fair enough) but also a whopping great handling charge for their efforts. Grrrr.
