Dreambox v DBox. your thoughts please

Dunno about photos etc,but have got 3 cams loaded on a neutrino image.

started off on the d box and must say excellent box (nokia only), but progressed to the dream 500 and then the 6oo, which you can install more than 1 image to boot up on (via barry allen). So must say dream box is the winner for me.

I currently use edge nem, gemini not latest releas as this has epg probs, and cli. I have also used the PLI and newcastle, nemisis,and some other obscure ones but must say edge nem and gemini hard to beat. you don't even need cable files no more easy to set up but for cw area found older cams work better.

Also used dw 2 on my 500 very good image.



However i am looking forward to trying this sites new image, prob l8r today.

Dreambox all the way! - Osbourne's image is still one of the best, although the DW 2.0 works great for me too.

I've tried most of the others and will try the DK one at some point, but the bottom line is that the old Dbox 2 semms just a million years behind.

I have both a dreambox and a dbox and can honestly say the dreambox is miles better both in picture quality and speed. My dbox seems very sluggish changing chan or going through the menus and glitches a lot. Also the dbox wont stream over my lan, i get video but no sound. The dreambox streams fine.

the dbox2 is old at least 7-8 years old and way over priced,probably because most people thought they were invincible,looking through this section its excellent for the 500c.its a good little box.
