Samba should already be enabled on that image 4.2 if not have a look in the extra's menu Blue Button - Network as it may be switched off by default

yeah found that it checks feeds restarts box but can not enable it?

Have you done a software update and then tried again

Perhaps try another image and forget the update

Not sure which dreambox model you have but just had a look over at dreamoem and they have OpenATV 5.0 nightly build for the 800se but only OpenATV 4.2 for the 800

hi again tried the update but was warned may not boot and it did not but i had backed up so no problem!

i have tried the nightly build which install ok but do not recognise a cable tuner installed it also looks for a twin tuner??

my box is a dm800 hd se fitted with nutune cable tuner works well on 4.2 but on 5 does not recognize tuner i think i may be nearly there but need a little help!

think im missing something!
