can any 1 help me im now getting a connection error on flashxp for dreambox it says cant establish a connection to host

details buddy details
ip of dreambox ip of your pc connection method ? ie router/straight to pc
without knowing any of the above id say your either connecting to wrong ip of dreambox OR wrong port

connection prob with fxp

hi mate just like osborne82 says he needs more details i had the same prob sorted by setting ip adresses on box and pc in the pc was set 1 digit lower than the dreambox as an example box set to 192.168.4.99 pc set 192.168.4.100 note the one diget higher the subnet setting remains the same on both dreambox and pc. i had 2 problems i had the wrong crossover lead from pc to dreambox i was trying to use standerd ethernet direct from the pc to dreambox instead of proper crossover pach lead bought proper lead from pc shop for ?2 take youre lead to shop they should be able to tell you the proper one u need my 2nd prob was i had it connected to the wrong port on the back of my pc so have a good look at the back of youre pc and tell oeborne82 what he needs to know to help you good luck
