DM500 to Virgin Media Superhub Ethernet connecton

Hi All,

I recently received a VM superhub with 50mb speed. My problem is that the DM500 can not connect to the superhub i.e. the green light on the superhub for the ethernet is not on.

The ethernet port work fine, since I can connect my MAC via the ethernet. The DM500 seems to be the only problem.

I have currently tried putting it into modem mode and used and old router, which worked fine, but the old router only gives me 20mb speed and not the full 50mb.

What is the solution to this? How can I use my superhub with the dm500.

Are you sure you are actually receiving the full 50mb download speed as these types of claims from companys where abolished a couple of years ago so the terminology used now is Up To 50mb etc.. as there is no guarantee due to outside factors.

The old router will not determine the speed the Superhub does

your superhub will work fine with the dm500! are you getting an ip address on dm500? also in router look at connected devices in advanced setting make sure also dhcp is on in dm500 network setting!
