    [Dreamup] Win98?

    Hello there

    Just asked around my mates to see if anyone had an old laptop for sale (im after serial port)

    One lad has, however its very old! Windows 98 infact, had a look about but cant find anywhere to say DreamUp is compatable with Win98? If it is ill have it off him.

          Too old mate tbh specs too shit, was designed for 95.

          Bet it will be the size of a garden slab too.

                      Good idea....you could also get a USB to Serial lead from Maplins Electronics..I have not got one myself, as my pc has a Serial port on it...But i think they are on offer right now for ?10...Can anyone confirm this ?? And also confirm that they DO work ??

                          Yeah i looked at them, but looked around and not sure how reliable they are.

                          Ill also be doing a few other boxes such as starviews too so ill need something reliable.
