ok need help i flashed my dreambox then i flashxp it and put the roms and the update keys in and it still dont work any1 help!! ?

when you pull the plug out , then back in at the mains.

do you get a message on the screen saying "starting evocamd 2.12 " ?

did you put your backed up keys and roms in their correct folders ? keys in keys folder
Roms in scce folder

then re booted box.

then do a scan , unless you got your bouquets also ftp`d across


thats if your using DK image

check the boxes ip again it might of changed .. if it has u will have to change the setting in ftp

u can also check on the dreambox itself by using the Tuxbox commander in the plugins.
Blue Button > Tuxbox Commandder

reflash with the dw 2.1 available on the bigmaq toolbar using dreamup and dont forget to ativate the cam with the blue button

@ dw.2.1 wouldnt go near it now dkv1 slaps it in the face... each to there own but why put crap on toast when you can have real butter.

oh i see because its the dwv2.1 which means your being lazy as its preloaded, im not eating at your house i fear i may get crap on toast in the morning .

and lm sure u can find someone with a dk v1 working back up if u ask in the right places if u really really cant get it working

in reply, it wasnt called crap, it was called crap in respect to the new one. side by side the new one makes the old one look crap.it wasnt said it was crap full stop, im well aware of who was involved in the development of the dw img and i think the man himself would agree his new one rocks the socks off the old one.

and the comment was tongue and cheek, if you read it the guy says load dw v2.1 and the only reason he states that is it is pre loaded hence no effort involved and nothing to do with which img is best and tbh i posted because of that fact, why load an old tired img when theres a brand new updated one out with the same person involved in making them. pre loaded thats why, people need to learn as it wont be long before all the img,s released will be without keys roms ect.....

and just to add where does it say i said it was crap in that post m8, i gave an example of it s like crap and butter. i dont recall saying the img was crap.
