    DM500 DM500 Ireland

    Hi all,

    Just getting to grips with a DM500-c. Setting it for use with NTL Ireland, if anyone has any tips as far as where to download keys and which dir's they go id' be happy to hear it. Have ftp'd into the box and messed around with images already fine but I seem to get stuck when it comes to setting up the NTL service (from what I have picked up this is the cables.xml file) and also which files are used to decrypt the channels.

    Any help is appreciated.

      Well it's been a long time coming but it's eventually here - Digital Kaos v1 image for all versions of DM500, cable satellite and terrestrial.       There's a link on there for 'special files'.

      Copy the files in the keys folder to /var/keys
      Copy the files in the scce folder to /var/scce

      Go to Sky sports 1, hold INFO until the EMU manager appears, press OK.
      Flick to Sky Sports 2 then back to sky sports 1 and wait till the channel clears.

      Job done.
