Dreambox 500 c probs

got my second dm500c the other day and flashed it with the new dk. image, using dreamup then flash fxp'ed my new keys and roms to the scce folder.
then i did something else which i cant remember now anyway it all worked great even had new channels that i didnt have on my other dm500c so tonight i decided to flash my other dm the same way using dream up then flash fxp but i wont work.
get all the channels found and the details but just a black screen ??
i did notice 2 things tho ?
1.when i did the bruteforce scan i did not have ticks showing in the sync and lock boxes (sure i did on the other one)

2.on flash fxp my tmp folder seems to have only 5 files in it while my other working box has 8.

any help please as its doing my head in

what am i missin ? (apart from a brain)

u can do a backup of the image on the working box and add to the tmp folder on your other box and go to software update and then manual and install your backup onto it

dont forget to rename to root.cramfs

just backup the working box(image) and flash it to the non working box either using dreamup or flashwizzard pro have a look in the stickies to help you using these apps ;0

if i just back up the image with dream up from my working box then dreamup it back to my non working box will i still have to ftp the keys and roms to scce folder ?

have started brute force scan but noticed no ticks in the sync and lock boxes again ?

still fingers crossed only 8 minutes to go !!!!

nope no luck
let it scan found all the channels
went to sky sports 1 pressed info
selected evocamd 2.12
then nothing

only bbc itv etc

is it 2 do with the sync and lock thing when scanning ?

did u leave on sky sports 1 for a few minutes

took about 3 minutes to flash ?

is now on sky sports one with evocamd 2.12 selected.

when i did it with my other box it came on straight away.

must be doing something wrong

u flashed with a null cable or the ftp part ?
