best cable box for clear pic

I have a Q5 box for cable. Previously on sat my box reproduced the sly box pic pretty perfect. The pic on Q5 although passable in no where near as sharp or vivid as my virmin box. After some research it seems the enigma 2 boxes ie Xtrend or Venton would give me a better pic. I do not need to record I only want a pic to match my Virmin box. No point in HDTV if the source isnt up to scratch.
Can you recommend a box and where to go for tutorials on how to set up.
    I have an.............................
    Thanks in advance.

Well I have done some research and it has been conflicting. Some who have said poor tuner others have not.
My main question was which box gives sharper pic on hd channels with a cable hd feed full stop.
        Thanks

I am keen in trying out the ZGEMMA H2 as it was the fastest of the budget E2 DVB-C box.
VENTON (400MHZ) and XTREND (1100MIPS=400MHZ) are slower than ZGEMMA H2's 750MHZ, which latter translated as a better IPTV machine.

How bad was the ZGEMMA H2's tuner, was it just a myth or bad luck, or really doggy hardware?

Any ZGEMMA H2 owner to comment on this?

                TIA

Have a look at the newer Zgemma H2S same setup as the H2 but with a faster CPU, unfortunately that's my only input as I'm a Zgemma 2s satellite user so can't comment on the cable quality.
