DM5OOC driving me mad

I have a DM500c that is stuck in the green light mode and will not react to the remote . i have tried many times to flash with DreamUp . trouble is it always fails at some stage , depends on how long the box has been turned off. Have even managed to get to about 99% and then i got the error message

Can anyone help please ?

are you flashing via ethernet or null modem cable? What image are you trying? Has the box worked previously or is it new?
