    Irish boxes hit

All encrypted channels gone. To fix clear the keys. On neutrino its blue - 3- red - yellow.

    Bye for now.

******************Bad news lads - had a quick look today - r-10 and r-m7 are showing different k-ys at the ninth character.*******

Not sure which is broke yet. Will do some testing.

4 boxes in my area went down, the above was needed to clear neutrino. a pli iolite was also hit, a rescan fixed that. Not a normal roll. Only my area though. We pioneer the bad news ;-) Time will tell.

dunno m8 - checked a box which was only showing rte2 - did not show any sign of a new roll, last keys were dated june 13th. So to force a roll I deleted the keys and it then and only then aued fine. Checked around - 3 other boxes affected within a small geographical area (no one outside the area affected - I checked around). 2 had same image so same fix worked. Another pal nearby using pli also lost all channels. On his own bat did a rescan to correct. So no RC but just they are the symptoms. Another guy around corner had no problems. Go figure ! Was in hurry earlier so just stuck it up in case anyone else affected. Blame it on the rain !

Oh no ..My coffee maker also ~~~~ed !

1 min blank screen is practically normal these days. 45 mins ain't though. No doubt more fun and games ahead.

BTW - I had a quick look around the net and there are others complaining also - incl eurovox owners.

                  <--rickets added 452 Minutes and 17 Seconds later...-->

edited first post - one of the roms is broke by the looks of things....

                    Where in dublin?

Roll was to standard of recent times on the test boxes i got on in South side and North Side... you have all 3 patched roms in ok?,,
Eurovox firmware has struggled in ireland since day1 of the new method.. but evocamd with the 3 roms, and our itgate cam both picked up same keys within a minute buddy...
                    boom!

did some research - rom 7 looks to be fine, rom10 is picking up the right key 50% of the time and the wrong key 50% of the time and these are the patched roms. Digit 9 is the one that changes. Have to go out now.

I restored an image from april that shows that its been happening since then also. Either I have a dodgy rom10 or else its only half working. Will play around with it tonight.

All boxes went down Wednesday evening for about 2.5 hours on MMDS in Munster.
Even official Chorus boxes went down.
Came back around 10pm that night.
