    DM600 Where to buy 600C? + Advise pls :D!

Konichiwa shipmates bit of a noobie here.

Got a 500C set up, was charged ?175 for it all working with VM channels (which I know is a joke). My mate wants one now but really wants a PVR version. Is it any more difficult to set up a 600C compared to a 500C?

Oh and which reseller out of these two would be best? (Is the linuxsat.eu one even a DB?)

    Thanks for any help!!

Buy DreamBox 600C, DreamBox 600C, Cable Reciever, Dreambox PVR

OEM FTA Cable Receiver PVR DVB600 [DM600] - ?125.00 : Linuxsat, Satellite Sales and Install

It is no more difficult to set up a 600c you just have more functions as its a pvr..

Thanks for the shout, ?190.00 delivered is a little over budget but I guess you're paying for peace of mind.

      Any bad feedback from DVBSeller?

You can buy from uk or buy direct, upto yourself. I use dvbseller all the time not problems.

Wouldn't the downside be that with DVBSeller the tuner is soldered so if he wanted to switch to a Sat system later on he'll be ~~~~ed. At least with satstore he'll get an original box which he can change tuners if needs be.

I have a dm600C from satstore and it has always worked like a dream. I also have clone dm600S from china and that has always worked like a dream and it cost me a third less then the box from satstore. If the cable side goes belly up than I am happy that I can swap my tuner from cable to sat and carry on using the box on satellite. It does not matter which dm600 you buy as they are both just as good but one of them has a fixed tuner so if things go wrong then you know one of the box will stuffed but if you are ok with taking that risk then it is fine.
