Does anyone here have the latest dm800hd dreambox bouquet?
Also what is the latest image for dm800hd that can support recording function?

For recording, u can use either hdd or thumb drive.

Try older lower capacity SATA II HDD, the newer HDD generally having issue with this DM800 device which is over 10 years old technology.

Dm800 usb port may not be able to power up yr external hdd. I think thumb drive should have no problem.

Cant bro. Have so many issues trying to mount the thumbdrive to the dm800hd

Above u can see that my box has detected my usb as hdd so I can do the recording. Also u need to create a movie folder on your usb. Go to information to see if your box has any detected devices.
