Pleeeeease somebody help me! I'm seriously out of my depth with all this but I've recently bought a dreambox and followed the tutorials but I'm at the stage where I FTP to the box. I log in fine but it won't let me copy the files from the key folder on PC over to dreambox. Any ideas its driving me nuts!!! I've started over and reimaged the box but I get stuck at the same point. Its as though I only have read permissions to the folder. Ive tried a straight ftp using windows explorer and get exactly the same problem. Heeelp!

Here what you need plus i sorted your box for you!!!
that's your problem!! - you need to write the files to:
var/keys
var/scee
not var_init/keys and var_init/scee as var_init is read only.. change to the correct locations and you'll manage to write the files no problem at all.. (the noobs guide is wrong in this respect BTW as it asks you to copy the files to var_init)..
