              17:02:05 Uploading file to box...
              17:15:20 calculating CRC32 on STB...
              17:15:21 erasing flash...
17:16:21 box is flashing from its memory...
17:16:24 ERROR, flash-copy failed (RC=608), box will be unusable now!!
no matter what image i try to flash.
Is there a way around this or am i wasting my time.

I read in another thread that it might be worth while flashing it with an erase image, do it twice and then try a new image as before..

Before flashing the new image, hit the 'Flash Erase' option TWICE.

Then try and flash the original firmware.

Iv,e tried everything now m8,s giving up on this crappy chineese box.Had an original box nearly 3 year never had any trouble at all.Only problem is this box is for a m8,first of all when box arrived it would,nt power up.Then i managed to get it going(dont know how though)tried to put new image on with dream up ,then got this error problem. Now the Friggin thing wont power up again, its a bag of shit.Ive emailed the seller and he,s agreed to send a new box for $30 which is just over ?15,lets hope it effing works,if it ever arrives.
