    Best way to record ?

    right guy's iv got a 500c, and im wondering what the best way to record is,
    i was having a bit of bother with the ngrab in that it was breaking up a bit,
    any hints?

    The best way to record would be to use the composite video out and phono audio outputs. But if you mean via ethernet, there's a couple of methods you can use, ngrab being one (never used it myself) or direct recording. There's a sticky for direct recording that you can read up on.

    None of the ethernet methods will give you a 100% perfect recording, there's always error in the recording but mostly it's watchable.

      If you can record the stream, before it is processed, then you can get great results via ethernet. I use this way on a mac and its been faultless for 2 years or so. I use ggrab which is a mac port I think, of ngrab.

        iv got the ngrab set up and a mount set up but i cant find the record button im running kaos v1

            Hi,
            i had try to use Scart to Component to connect to my dvd recorder but than when i view on my tv ... it give a decent graphic but the colour seen to be not the original colour and no sound..

            doesnt that mean my tv dont support Scart???
