Lost Sky Sports 1 & 3 Plymouth

Hello,

I have a dm 500-c, I lost sky sports 1 & 3 after a rescan a few months ago and haven't been able to get them back.
The cable provider is virgin and I'm in the mutley area of plymouth.

Any suggestions?

make sure you have a straight feed with no splitter and try again

a splitter - splits the signal so can make it weaker.

What are other likely causes of losing just a few channels?

did you do a full scan using bruteforce or a local scan? in my experiance if you do a quick/local scan i lose channels. do a full bruteforce scan (takes 15mins or so)

also have you tried looking in all channels instead of your bouquet as some might be in there rather than in your bouquet!!!!!

Missing out the splitter fixed it, many thanks for that and the other suggestions - I found several new channels I wasn't expecting
