I am having a problem with Kaos V1.
When I try and restore the bouquets and channels using dreamboxedit it does not work. Anyone tried using dreamboxedit with Kaos V1?

Neil check your set to cable box,,, and check the paths,
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma
and
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable/

p.s devilfish correct me if its any different

also in extra settings in the kaos menu theres a option to restart channels aswell

Copy the userbouquet files to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable.
Copy the bouquet file to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma.

Go to Yellow > Manager Suite > User Features > Reload Channels

I am using a set of bouquets that a saved from the gemini 4.2 image I had on before it. Could that be the problem?

Odd thing is when I copy the files from the box with dreamboxedit now they are the ones I put on. They just don't show up on the dreambox

This is what dreamboxedit copies from the box now. I can not work out what is wrong with them.

Hi mate,, what exactly have you been doing with the channels all in red?... i presume your trying to get the working adult and ppv channels thru dreambox edit,,, not all are available, but they should be blue in dreambox edit and not red,,,,
where exactly is your area and ex provider anyways?..
i will try and sort these ones and see if that makes any difference..

Still not working, I get nothing under bouquets.
This is a copy of the log from dreamboxedit. It all looks ok to me.

Still not working, I get nothing under bouquets.

Neil now try pressing reload settings button on dreambox edit.
if that doesnt work, manually put the ones i posted ( just dump all off them for quickness ),, by ftp into /var/tuxbox/config/enigma and /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable/

then again using your dk plugin or dreambox edit reload settings.

Somethings no right then mate,,,, i havent used the image sorry, but devilfish confirmed what the paths were from any enigma1 image,,,
think out the box here, dreambox edit as a software isnt really doing much,, its ftp'ing the files to the box and there is a reload settings button on there that just reloads the settings,,, cant think of any reason why it wouldnt work on being image specific...
and if you manually ftped every file in that zip to the both folders too , again, no logical reason as to why they wouldnt show after a wee reload settings command

I said it was wierd. I use Pli on my 7025 'cus it does the now and next. I think I will try putting the 500 version on and try that. The same bouquets worked in gemini ok.
