DM600 Gremlins while changing a skin!!

Hello..

decided on changing a skin so changed to the surf one.. anyway, i changed it and when i rebooted it it just hung.. stayed on the pli iolite splash screen and didnt change.. 10 minutes later it just started and all the channels came up...

any ideas what could have been the problem..

Bad skin,, not supported on the image, or a bad .tar.bz2 or .tar.gz install file.
you need do a flash-erase or reflash

yeh looks like it.. causing me problems last night so i had to do a re-flash.. works fine now..

note to self: dont try and fix it if it isnt broke..
