I owned a Amiko MiniHD, the tuner is digital, and during startup it will notify the user of changes in frequency scan asked if wish to perform autoscan. That's how I got to aware of this new frequency of 610MHz recently.

Alternately, you could try to blind scan using frequency step of 0.5MHz from 100 to 900MHz. setting correct QAM and SymbolRate.
