Hi all, I've a HD-601 plus that somehow got bricked after a firmware upgrade. I tried searching in the forum and closest I came to is HDC608. Can any kind soul advise how can I unbrick the device? Thanks in advance!

Take the alternative solution
And download AliEditor (Google it).

If you are not a technical person, get someone to do.
My recommendation: Don't worth the effort to recover an antique, time to upgrade to a Engima2 box.

Thanks for the advice. I went through the link you provided but can't figure out how to connect the box to my PC since i don't have the RS232 connector.
I can't seem to find the CPU mentioned on the chipset too. Care to enlighten me? Appreciate it.
Trying to resolve this as a project for a friend.
