      I use component on my lcdtv (40" samsung) with the dream set to YPbPr & the picture is fine from a distance up close you can see the grains but like i said from a distance the picture is fine!!

          RGB and 16.9, is spot on.. depending on TV

            it works very well for me, i use a monster scart to component converter and run it through an Onkyo AV amp which up scales it to 625, and displays it on a 2 year old 750 pioneer plasma, it looks much better than all my mates 1080p set ups with a dream box, well until they put on a blu-ray then i have to eat humble pie

              It's the Dreambox --> SCART --> TV (ie. no component converter) scenario that'd be the concern for me; some people are able to do it though, it just depends on the TV. Quality up scaling tech is of course going to get you a better picture... some TVs just do a really poor job.
