i have just moved house and brought my trusted dm500 with me. it is the same area and the vermin connection is live. i put my dm on and it works but sly sports and a few others are unwatchable, constantly breaking up like a bad signal. most channels are fine tho. i have chased the cable back to the street and made sure everythings tight and inplace. i have tried rescanning and turning on andoff countless times but its still the same! any suggestions or help???

The first thing to try is to remove any splitters on the cable, usually there is one just where the cable comes in from the street. If that doesn't work :
A variable attenuator if the signal strength is too high.

A variable amplifier if the signal strength is too low.

You need specialist equipment to work out which one you need, so best to get the attenuator first as it is cheaper.
