hi, i just need help in setting up my freambox 600 for the second time, i had help beofre off someone but the keys have rolled and have lost all channells, have messed it up trying to do it myself so i have reflashed the box and dont have the files and dont know what to do from there, wondering if anybody can talk me through it, i am ok with computers, thanks alot.

how do i install roms and keys on dreambox 600 pvr and set the image up to access pay channells ? please help, thanks in advance

The PLI Images are best for these boxes mates, well at least imho there are...

You need to use an ftp program downloadable from here >>> http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...a-3-2-7-1-891/

you then FTP your roms over to the box then do a bruteforce scan... a guide on hot to do this is here but it uses a different FTP program, do not worry though as they are all pretty much the same...>>>> http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...dreambox-1307/

if you don't have the roms, say so and somebody here will send you them somehow as they cannot be posted on our server.. You want the AU (auto update) roms so that you do not have to manually update your keys when VM roll them

If you dont already have it, install BigMAQ toolbar, it has all the roms and keys you need.

Can someone help setting up my Dreambox 600PVR? I've flashed a PLI image, from waht I hear I need a cables.xml and roms. I've had a DBOX2 for a while, if I managed to get the cable.xml from the DBOX would it work on the Dreambox?

yes, it will work the same, also you can take your keys folder contents and scce contents and transfer them as well

Transfer the cables.xml to /var/etc/
