yes just look for the square mesh ariels see which way they are pointing mmds is available all over cork and limerick thank ~~~~

after reading all the posts here, i'm just wondering. I live outside Cork city (5 min of the airport) and i have cable here. What are my chances of getting mmds signal? also the aerials you are talking about, are they like the old analog? or like a sat dish? would it be worth it to get the dm500T with the aerial for 6 months?

https://www.bubblesupplies.co.uk have MMDS kits eriel and receiver for €140 a pop. ...might be worth a punt

If anyone does take a punt at setting up there MMDS in the city, post their results and experiences here.

Hi, just trying to figure out how to move to MMDS after cork went n3. Been running a dreambox 500c successfully for a while and I wonder if the 500t is compatible with the aerial for sale on mycablebox. The output frequency of the aerial is 662-848 Mhz, while the Dreambox 500t frequency range is between 950 -2150 Mhz, which doesn't match. Does that aerial only works with the Digivox T?

Just wondering as I would prefer to use a dreambox as I'm more familiar with it

The spike/yagi type ariel(with built in downconverter) will work with 500T, i have one , but you will need diff cable.xm, because it downconverts at 440MHz higher than the standard chxxus ariel! or else you will have to manually scan each transponder!
