What Image Works Best for Barbados MCTV

My father is looking to retire to Barbados within weeks, we presently use digitalworldz image version 2.0 in the UK and it works a treat. If he were to take it to Barbados would it work equally as well? If so how do i scan it? bruteforce uk? please help. thanks

You mean can you take a cable box to Barbados and watch uk programs on it ? The only way you can watch uk tv abroad is satellite or using a slingbox AFAIK

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Dreambox 500c flashed with digitalworldz version 2.0

The keys that they use are in the satankeybundles. Surely if i ftp them to var/keys- keylist.txt with dreambox control center. Would i have to change the roms?. Would I have to manually scan it to pick up mctv cable or would it pick it up on an automatic scan? If so does anyone know the frequencies for Barbados mctv cable. And finally would evocamd update the keys the same way it does for virgin?

Satankeybundle is used on the satellite setup. Nothing to stop you from using the DW image but you will need to get the cables.xml file for barbados if they have cable otherwise your father will have to go for the satellite option.

There is a cable service in Barbados because its one of the few other countries still using a nagra1 type encryption..
Being totally honust, its not something i had time to look at myself, but I do know they use a different type of n1 keyroll tricks from us, but i do believe there is boxes work out there, and i firmly believe do-able on a linux box, You need a cam thats been tweaked probably at somepoint for there keyrolls and a keypack and as already mentioned a cables.xml although i think they use one of the standard 6900 or similar.. could be wrong there.. I will try and find out more info from you,,
              boom!

ITGATE is a Korean manufacturer of Dreambox-like (Linux based, PowerPC CPUs, etc.) set top boxes. You can have a look at the specifications here:

                        - It`s the Gate to your world - ITGATE -

Google "itgate" and I'm sure you'll find some UK resellers.

                            Cheapesst ITGATE model for Barbados

Can someone please help me, I have practically no knowledge about the ITGATE, I have dreambox 500c and a 7000s. Could someone tell me the cheapest model of ITGATE that I could purchase for Barbados. What Image to flash it with and what cam, from what I have read the h****cam would suit Barbados best. I am looking to purchase one and send it down to Barbabados to test it. Any help would be useful
