    Sound distorted

Hi, I have tried 2 x DM500C cable boxes and both the sound appears to be distorted. The picture is fine, no blocks and the signal is 92% and all channels are fine. Terrestial tv audio is fine. I have also tried two different images. The current image I am using is DW.

I've tired the connection from the V connection box and also from the extended cable but no difference. I bought a Konig amplifier and this made the signal worse for some reason although I think it is faulty.

    Any ideas?

I'll try the scart, the cables are all fine. I've checked and have reseated them.

Occasionlly get a bit of lip sync, otherwise decent scart.Tried cheaper stuff and used to get background buzzing, swop to gold connector and sorted.
Checkout the RED stickies massive amount of info and effort been put into them.

I assume you have already disabled 'fast zapping' in the system settings?

I'll give this a go, I haven't tried disabling fast zapping.

              What does this do?
