    help still needs help

    hiya i am still having trouble i have done a factory reset i get all channels but when i got to sky sports 1 to start evocamd the info bar comes up at bottom but the screen stays blank

      reflash with working image, chances are the rom fixes are gone as its been reverted back to factory settings

          What image do you have installed?

          Are you sure evocamd is installed?

          Have you ftp'ed the magic files to /var/keys/ and /var/scce/?

              yeah i think i have done all that soz really new to this i thought i was clever getting it going in the first place i have put dreambox stuff in keys folder and bin files in scce but to be honest dont know if i'v done it right maybe not would it be worth doing thing with null cable again

                  What image are you using?

                  Chack that you enabled evocamd in blue button menu.

                  Did you chmod 755 both the keys & scce files?

                      if you've done a factory reset then that will have taken all the "magic" off your box therefore only FTA channels available.

                          dont really know what that means tried seeing if evocamd was enabled but dint know how to check

                                  Well some people on here have tried to trouble shoot onto what stage you are at. As it looks you probably just missing the magic files.

                                  But hey.


                                  Just reflash the DK image and start again i suppose. At least that way then you can follow the instructions available here.
