My remote seems to have stopped working on my db500c, have changed batterys ect

Is there anything i can do to control the box? Like a commant line or web remote?

Have i disabled it in anyway or is that it? just broke

is your box networked ?
if so you can type the ip address of your box into your webbrowser
bring up the dreambox interface and change channel from there.
