gday guys i have just noticed my box is running dk v1 image is it worth my while trying to update it i havent flashed image b4 but put the files in so fairly confident also would i need to rescan for channels or copy backup??

If its running ok I would'nt change a thing. Like people say why fix it if it aint broke. -
Back up your roms and keys. Use dreamboxedit to backup your bouquets (or you can just copy the services and bouquets files). Then flash whatever image you like. Once flashed copy the stuff back across and you're good to go. Not even a scan required.Comment

this image works great I often back up a working image of dk v1 because it works great
then use it if needed to flash on other dm 500 boxes
using Guide: Flash and Backup an Image via Telnet from the forum
always works for me
