i have just been told that a dm500c will work on an mmds antenna just like in ex ntl areas such as dublin can anyone confirm this

hi challah, 500c will not work on mmds on the chorus network. you have to have a t tuner.

yesterday i would say that you were right but i have been told that things have changed, can chorus run two frequencies at the same time, one mmds one cable on the same system

Dont think so mate, the image on 500 would be the exact same, but still think you would have to have terrestrial tuner!

i agree, you can not use a cable box to watch satelite or mmds signal.
Although there're combo boxes that'll take sat and terrestrial.

yes you are right three different tuners for three different frequencies but ex ntl use cable boxes for their mmds is it possible chorus have started doing the same they are the same company after all

you can change the tuner in your 500c to 500t i was told this before
because i was moving from an NTHELL area to an mmds area but i was new to the scene so i sold my 500c and bought a digivox t instead
there on skywonder for a hundred euro posted

if you are in the sticks i think a t box but if you are in an area that is like an estate they could or might have changed,who knows how long.
