DK v1.1 Image Setup Help??

Hello all,

I am a complete Noob (and Nob) when it comes to this cable side of things.... I have an OM500cs and I am trying to setup the image. I had it working okay when I bought it, with no prbs,,,, I tries to change the boquets and messed it up so I have reflashed it, and all working on the FTA stuff, but now I need the roms, and keys??

Where do I get the roms from, and the keys, and please be patient with me... Tell me like you are telling a 6 year old please...

1st everything you need is here already on the forum all you have to do is search.
2nd goto>>>>http://www.mercs.us/tools/real_magic.rar and download files and place them in var/scce & var/keys, then hold down the info button and switch the emu on.

First off thanks for the replies....

I have downloaded the files from real_magic, and there are 3 folders, <Lib> <Var Bin Emu> <Var_Keys>

I have FTP's all 3 folders into var/scce & var/keys and I have evocamd 2.12 (i think) working. I have held the info button and restarted the cam, but still only the FTA are viewable...

Any ideas?

Do the all the files in the folders go into SCEE and KEYS folders, or is is the folder.

So when I look on my DM500c should there be another folder within the folders SCEE and KEYS or just the files?

Also , is it VAR or VAR_INIT becuase I read the spoonfed newbit help guide, and that sayd VAR but on the screenshot it has VAR_INIT??

ftp the keys in var/keys and the roms in var/scee you can download the evocam from the blue button
