No Skysports,ESPN,Sky premire,dreambox 500c

Missing some channels on Dreambox 500c,ex c&w area,been like this since they started changing the keys,re done the dk image and re scanned,still missing Skysports,some movie channels,ESPN,any ideas,same boxes in area have same problem,thanks in advance.

have you tried a booster or scanning for these channels in the middle of the night when the cable network isn't busy. I think the problem is the fact that sometimes the tuners on the 500c are weak, i can't get ESPN myself

keep trying!, i had to scan the channels a total of 7 times once to get all the sly premium channels stored . also have you tried doing a manuall scan as some txps seem to be stronger than others, in my area 730.00 is a really weak txp

mikeyb and mdt,Thanks for the replys.I have had the box for 2 years,the channels dropped off about 3 weeks ago,2 of my friends boxes in the same area are missing the same channels,scanned it many times,re installed the image,still no joy.
mdt,how do you do a manual scan,is that a manual scan per channel,is there a link on DK for how to do it,thanks

3 other dreamboxes in area are missing the exact same channels in ex c&w area,scanned several times,re flashed with different images,no luck,must be a local issue,

Try do a manuel scan this normal gets all channels plus extra's if you do after 10pm !

I can confirm of 2 other box's in Manchester (Ex-cw) are missing Sky Sports 1 and ESPN. I've been to both and tried soft reset, cam reset, scan with splitter, scan without splitter to no avail.

As suggested by others try the manual scan. I have similar problems when trying to scan for box office channel always have to do manual scan as auto scan never works. You would need the correct freq though for your area to scan around.

I'm in Liverpool, same thing for Sky Sports 1 and Discovery Realtime (could be more, but haven't checked) I just get a black screen, the epg still shows the correct data it's as if the channel is not being decrypted.

Try deleting the missing channels off the bouqets and all services menu then auto scanning, i had a similar problem a few weeks ago in the north lanarkshire area, this method worked for me

Thanks for the tip mate !
I was missing just Sly Sports 1, scanned several times before & sometimes found other channels, sometimes lost other channels ... but just did as you said this time - deleted it from all Bouquets and did a re-scan ... and just in time to watch Chelski vs ManUre too !!
