    1. You dont say what image you have on your box but the dreams haven`t been down for a few months so I am guessing that you have only had fta for a while. To get it working again you can ftp new roms to your box that will get it to auto update. You will need to get working roms but they are actually available if you download

    RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

You could replace the keys file on your image with these ones and it should be fine.

    2. Personally think the easiest way to ftp is as per the 7th thread on the link below.

Guide: Flash and Backup an Image via Telnet - Page 3

    3. I think you should also have a read here as this is a safe way to flash an image to your box - less likely that you will get a bad flash. Thats only if you want to flash a new image.

Guide: Flashing a Dreambox with Dreamup

    4. If you elect for 3 above read the very first thread here - it has everything you need.

    ### Digital Kaos v1 Dreambox Image for DM500 C/S/T ###

I aint no expert far from it but it actually isnt that difficult to get it up and running. A little patience and reading and your knowledge will improve.

    Good luck

You need to FTP to your box. Are you going through a router or a cross over cable.

You can then browse files and change the keys.
