backing up image on dream up

If I backed up an image from a dreambox using dreamup,and then transferred it to another dreambox,would that also transfer the channel list as well,or just the image,thanks in advance.

Yes absoluetely did tio two other box within my area and thety both worked a treat.

Westkill,thanks,I will try that later,a friend of mine can't pick up some of the channels,even after rescans,my box is picking everything up,so hopefully it will sort it.

Still not working,I will keep trying,it's one of those things,it's simple when you know how.I have lent my working box to my friend,and kept the non working box,test out my knowledge on that,I will sort it eventually,in the meanttime,any knowledge from the experts out there is welcome.

can you view any premium channels at all

Westkill,yes,all other channels are working,Skysports 1,ESPN,are the ones I can't seem to get,people are moaning because of the football.

may just be a slightly weaker tuner on this box
may have to do a single transponder scan for each channel
or remove any splitters if possible do a scan on the main feed should do it , i know its a pain in the arse
are you in a ntl area..?

Westkill,sorted it,when flashing the image on dream up,you get "ja and "na",I was choosing "Ja,when I should of chose "na",always something simple like that,,all sorted now,
