A big hello - Dreambox Help 500C

Hello all

First off let me say hello to all.. im a new one to all things cable and have learnt alot with the modem side of things.. now this new TV thing is even better!

This seems a great little community from what i have been reading and glad to be a member

Now to the asking for help

I have got my 500c flashed.. running and watching tennis (would you believe it, dam women )

I have also managed to setup recording to my main pc up stairs over the network, all seems going well etc.. one thing i was just going to ask.. is there a way to direct record by just pushing a button so it will record what im watching right away.. without going through the timer setup all the time? Like an instant record etc?

ive never used it but on my DW 2.1 box over here whenever you press green, you get controls which show forward rewind play etc, but if youre on digitial kaos, you have to keep hold of a button, god knows which one as im new myself but was having a read before about something and seen it there, hope that helps a little.
