why using ccam on cable? should be using evocam or mgcam

because you may use your 7025 for cable and satellite if you have different tuners and evocam is not very good for satelite

in the softcam file located in usr/keys

you may need to change the first 2 numbers of the keys for example if you are pure ntl 54 01 you will need to change to 55 01

if you are using cccam you will need to update the keys as they change mgcam or evocam will au cable keys

i've made a favorite bouquet with the best channels from sat and cable, programmed with the autocam feature.
this works well but one cam doing both would be better.
may i ask that if you're using cccam on sat, is the cable side really necessary.
also, i cant get component output to work.

no cccam does not au on cable i have used the method you suggested but i mainly watch cable over satellite so i use cccam all the time for both as my box is no use to anyone else in the chain if im using evocam,at the moment this is more habit than neccesity as my satellite is very good but to record channels using the dual tuner i still need both running on cccam anyways

i'm now using dream elite on my 7025. it's a great image but can't download evocamd.
i want to use cccam for the cable channels.(i think you know why). i know the keys wont update, but they hardly roll the keys now anyway.
i'm in 5c01 area so edited softcam file to 5501. didn't work.
5do1 didn't work either.
any ideas please.
