    DM600 vlc setup

    has anyone setup their vlc on their pc/dreambox? is it easy to do?
    is it a bird?......is it a plane?.....NO ITS MY CHEAP CLONE FROM CHINA GOING OUT THE ~~~~ING WINDOW.

    I've set mine up using a router, do you have it conencted to one of these, if yes then the answer is it is easy to setup.

      i,m not on a router but i can telenet to the box, i can change channels from pc and stuff like that.

        You can just go into the ip address and watch on your computer if you have a direct cable connection from PC to Dreambox, however you will not be able to broadcast accross the internet without a router, well not easily anyway.

          yep thats what i done but windows media player wont load the pictures.

            You need to donwload VLC player, its free and plays moreless anything.
