i am thinking of geting a dm600c but was wondering is the flash files the same as the dm500c and is the autoupdate work the same as the dm500 also any ideas on the best place to buy one and whats the best price to pay , and also can u still buy the dm500c as my dad wants one :P thanks in advance

you will need a different image for the dm600 but the image is more or less the same setup , the image is bigger for the internal hdd

you flash the 600 the same way as the 500, with dream up, or the very latest Flashwizard Pro, you can also telenet an image to the box.

The autoupdate is the same as the 500.

Best place to buy one is a difficult one as we dont like to link to shops e.t.c. selling them, you could do a google, or better still send Max_Gee a PM he might be able to help you on that one.

You will be lucky to get a 500c these days and most certain if you get one noe its a clone as they stopped manufacturing the real ones over a year ago, you could go for the open media which is a 500c and a 500s all in one, again PM Max_Gee, he will be able to advise you on where to get one.
